A
Long Way
I take in the view and have a drink or two,
I lay my head back, nothing else to do.
I try to snooze, but have no luck,
I can’t get comfy, this really does suck.
I look at my feet; they’re starting to swell,
I race for the loo, I’m not feeling well.
I sit and watch movies, the same one again,
I listen to snoring, it all seems in vain.
I take off my jumper, its getting so warm,
I wonder if it’s late, or maybe its dawn.
I pick at my food; it’s not very nice,
I like my food hot, with a little spice.
I can’t seem to move, just stuck in the middle,
I might have a drink, just another tiddle.
I can’t wait to stand up, just stretch for a while,
I hate to be crowded, this feeling is vile.
I can get up now; at last I am free,
I need a good wash, I now smell you see.
I look out the window, the start of a new day.
I am glad it’s all over, my flight to the UK.
