New York Reflection
Twin towers soaring in the sky
Filled with people like you and I
Fathers and mothers, daughters and sons
Soldiers of commerce, America’s young guns
Seekers of freedom, disciples of liberty
All struck down by this evil atrocity
Feel their fear and feel their pain
Senselessly wiped out by the hijackers plane
And out of evil can there come any good?
The politicians tell us it surely should
But this is not sanctioned by God’s almighty hand
And none of us will ever understand
Why we never learn-none of us-
That life is dear, everyone is precious
